When I was a child, my cousin Peter would come to visit with his children's magazine tucked under his arm. Inside were short stories, puzzles, and games - treasures that kept his bright, curious mind busy. He also had story cards, toys for experiments, and everything a child eager to learn could hope for. His parents understood him and gave him what he needed to feed his imagination.
I remember watching Peter with a sense of awe. Even as a young girl, I knew he was special. He had a spark of intelligence that stood out, a restless curiosity that needed stories and ideas to keep it alive.
My own path was different; I didn't have the subscriptions or the magazines, so I created with what I found around the house and outdoors. But Peter's spark stayed with me.
Today, my Whimsical Tales are written for children like Peter--children who are curious, clever, and growing. Children who delight in stories that spark their imagination and make them smile.
