When Inspiration Arrives Unexpectedly

After completing a full year of creating illustrated storybooks, I expected to take a long creative pause. I thought my imagination would need time to rest, especially as I entered my first real marketing season. Surprisingly, inspiration had other plans.

In the middle of a hectic November afternoon - while juggling ads, website updates, and daily posts, images of tiny piglets suddenly appeared in my mind as clearly as if they were already part of a storybook. Their personalities, their energy, their charm...it all arrived at once. I knew instantly that if I didn't capture them right away, the spark might fade.
So I set everything aside and jumped in. The illustrations came quickly, scene after scene, season after season, along with the storyline that tied their journey together. It felt like a creative rush, the kind that doesn't happen often, and I didn't want to lose a moment of it.
What this experience taught me is simple: when inspiration strikes, act on it. Creative ideas can be delicate. If you wait too long, the freshness, the excitement, and the heart of the idea can slip away.
This new storybook was born suddenly, joyfully, and in the middle of marketing chaos will be released soon. I'm excited to share the piglets' charming journey with everyone, and
I'm grateful that I trusted that little spark when it arrived.
